Bouviers are intelligent, versatile, strong, confident, independent, energetic, resilient, gentle, calm, loving and protective. Bouvier des Flandres Physical Characteristics – Bouviers usually weigh somewhere between 70 and 110 pounds. They stand about 23.5 to 27.5 inches tall and have a strong and muscular build. 

Bouviers vary drastically in color from one to another. The standard colors include fawn, black, brindle, gray, gray brindle and pepper and salt coloring. Other Bouvier colorings include blue, white, silver and gray, black and white and other variations. All colorings make gorgeous coats on these beautiful dogs. They are light to average shedders depending on their grooming habits.
